Your quote, in writing first.
Tell us roughly what you need and we will come back within one business day. Quotes are free, there is no obligation, and the price we put in writing is the price you pay.
What do you need?
Pick as many as apply. Most jobs are one of these; plenty are two or three.
Tell us about the space
Rough numbers are fine, we measure properly when we come out.
What are you after?
If you have no idea yet, that is completely normal, say so and we will bring samples.
Your details
Last step. We will come back to you within one business day.
No obligation. We do not share your details with anyone.

Just outside that list? Ask anyway. We travel for the right job, and we will tell you honestly if the travel makes it not worth your money.
The things people actually ask.
We come back within one business day of your enquiry, usually the same afternoon. For most flooring jobs we will book a time to come and measure, that is free and there is no obligation. The written quote follows within a day or two of the measure.
For small handyman work we can often quote from a photo and a description without coming out at all, which saves everybody a visit.
No. Moving furniture is part of the job and it is included in the quote. What helps is if you empty wardrobes, clear the tops of things, and take anything fragile or irreplaceable out of the room yourself, we would rather you moved the vase than us.
Beds, lounges, dining tables and cabinets we handle. Pianos, pool tables and anything plumbed in need a specialist and we will tell you that up front.
We lift it, load it and take it away. Removal and disposal are itemised in the quote so you can see what that part costs rather than finding it as a line item afterwards.
Old carpet and underlay go to the tip. Timber that is in good condition we sometimes keep for offcut work. If you want to keep any of it, say so before the day.
As a rough guide, a single bedroom is half a day. A living, dining and hallway run is usually one to two days. A whole three-bedroom house is two to four days depending on how much subfloor preparation it needs.
The variable is almost always the subfloor. If a slab needs levelling, that adds a day and it has to cure before anything goes on top. We would rather add the day than lay over a problem, and we will have flagged it at the measure, not on the morning.
Yes, and most people do. We work room by room so you always have somewhere to be. There is noise, cutting and grinding especially, so if you work from home it is worth planning calls around the first day.
Floors are walkable as soon as they are laid. If we have used adhesive there may be a few hours before furniture goes back, and we will tell you exactly when.
Regularly. Send us the entry condition report and we will price against each line item rather than giving you one lump figure. We invoice the agency directly if that is easier, photograph the completed work, and we are used to the tight windows between tenancies.
For landlords with more than one property we can set up a standing arrangement so a turnover does not need a fresh quote every time.

We do travel further for larger jobs. If you are outside that list, ask, and we will tell you honestly whether the travel makes it worth your money.
Yes. We carry public liability insurance and we are happy to provide a certificate of currency before we start, agencies and body corporates usually want one and we send it without being chased.
You call us and we come back. That is the whole policy. If it is our workmanship, we fix it at our cost and we do not argue about it.
Manufacturer warranties on the flooring itself vary by product and by range, so we will give you the specific warranty document for whatever you choose rather than quoting a number here that might not apply to your floor.
Less than you would think. Sweep or vacuum on a hard-floor setting, and mop with a barely damp mop and a pH-neutral cleaner. No steam mops on click floors, the heat and moisture get into the joins.
Felt pads under every chair and table leg are the single best thing you can do, and mats at external doors stop grit getting walked in, which is what actually wears a floor. We leave you a care sheet and a few spare planks from your batch on the day.
